many things on drawing is just a matter of finding the right references, i think this gun was supposed to be an assault rifle, if you don't know the assault rifles by their names (ak47, m16, steyr aug, famas, stg44, etc, etc) you google "assault rifle" there will be many images and you will find one on the position you want the gun to be
